Manchester United are set to officially launch their 2026-27 home kit on May 14, marking another key moment in the club’s long-standing partnership with Adidas as they prepare for a return to the Champions League.

The kit will be available at Adidas stores and select retailers, with both authentic and replica versions offered to fans. The reveal comes just three days before United’s penultimate Premier League fixture of the current season, giving supporters an early look at the design for next term.
The timing of the launch holds significant commercial weight. The Adidas kit deal is reportedly worth up to £90 million per year, but includes a clause that requires United to pay a £10 million penalty each season they fail to qualify for the Champions League. With Michael Carrick’s side having secured a top-four finish, this unveiling allows the club to maximize the full financial benefits of the agreement.
Alongside the home shirt, Adidas will also introduce complementary kits for the 2026-27 campaign. Following a growing trend among elite European clubs to reveal new kits before the current season ends, Manchester United are expected to debut the home shirt in their final two matches of the season—against Nottingham Forest on May 17 and away to Brighton & Hove Albion on May 24.
The kit launch also coincides with increased activity in United’s transfer planning, with significant moves anticipated in the summer window as Carrick prepares his squad for a return to Europe’s top competition. However, uncertainty remains over whether the former United midfielder will be given the managerial role permanently, despite backing from several players.
