  • The Royal Dutch Airlines – “Our plans for the way ahead”

The corona crisis is affecting us all. At KLM, your health and safety are our main priority. Therefore, we are monitoring the situation closely and we are doing everything we can to ensure we can travel safely together in the near future.

We would like to inform you about the changes to our product, schedule and policies to enable you to travel with confidence.

Travel together safely

Our main priority is to ensure that our passengers and crew feel safe on board whilst flying. Therefore, we have taken measures, following the guidelines of the WHO. One of these measures is the use of face masks on board and during boarding. Starting 11 May, face masks will be compulsory on all flights across the whole KLM network.

Applying for a voucher

If you have booked with us in the past months and your flight has been cancelled, you can apply for a voucher. We are doing our utmost best to send you your travel voucher as soon as possible. Because of the large number of requests, it may take several weeks to receive your voucher. You can find more information on our FAQ page.

Latest flight schedule

While our schedule is strongly reduced, KLM is committed to offer flights to customers who need to travel. At the moment KLM operates flights to 60 destinations on a weekly basis from its hub in Amsterdam and some even to intercontinental destinations. Check our website to find our current flights. Please always consult local authorities before flying.

Dream now, fly later

Are you dreaming of your next holiday, but worried about having to cancel your flight? To take away your concerns, we offer you a flexible rebook guarantee. If you book a flight with a departure between now and a year – you can change your travel dates without a change fee. Costs for a possible fare difference remain applicable. Read more about our full rebook policy on our website

Our commitment

Your safety is our number 1 priority. We’re taking extra steps like additional cleaning, and new boarding procedures to allow for more distance on board and at the airport.

Book with confidence

Trying to plan ahead? Book with greater peace of mind, as we’re giving you the freedom to make changes to your booking, without extra charge.

The lastest flight schedule

We’ll do our best to operate as many flights as possible to take you where you need to go. Check our flight status page for the overview. Please always consult local authorities before flying.

Use our digital services

Download the KLM app or sign up for KLM’s social media service to check in at home and receive notifications about your trip. This way, you don’t have to use the self-service kiosks at the airport.

Stay up to date

We’re continuously evaluating and adjusting our measures in response to the coronavirus. If we have news, we’ll share it on our dedicated COVID-19 page.
