Álex Jiménez, the 21-year-old Bournemouth defender, has been withdrawn from the squad for the upcoming Premier League match following an incident involving a 15-year-old girl, as confirmed by the club in an official statement.

The Spanish full-back, who previously came through the Real Madrid and AC Milan youth academies, will not be available for Andoni Iraola’s side when they face Fulham on Saturday. This decision comes after private Instagram conversations between Jiménez and a 15-year-old girl were circulated on social media.
In a statement published on the club’s website, AFC Bournemouth said: “The club is aware of posts circulating on social media regarding right-back Álex Jiménez. The club understands the seriousness of the matter and is currently investigating. As a result, Alex will not be included in the squad for tomorrow’s Premier League match against Fulham, and the club will make no further comment at this time.”
According to the leaked messages, Jiménez stated that he had “never been with a 15-year-old girl” but admitted he was attracted to “young girls.” In a later message, he wrote: “It was a mistake to talk to you. I don’t want problems.”

The Cherries have not provided additional details, pending the outcome of their internal investigation. Jiménez’s absence marks a significant blow to Bournemouth’s defensive options for the weekend fixture.
