Amolatar CLO dies mysteriously inside his house


Amolatar – 18, September 2021: In less than five days, Lango subregion lost two senior police officers. Michael Orech, 61, retired at the rank of ASP and worked as the Community Liaison Officer (CLO) Lira district.

The retired police officer died together with his elder brother, Francis Ogwal,69.

The two, and another passanger died from Diima, Kiryandongo district when the van they were traveling in to Kampala hit another truck.

The truck, registration number UAP 511J belongs to Sino Hydro company. A Toyota Hiace (van) registration number UBG 443T got wrecked beyond recognition.

On Friday, another sad death was announced. Julius Martin Onguu, according to some sources was not feeling well for the last two days.

He had not been seen in public since Tuesday, another source, says.

On Friday evening, the neighbors started to feel the smell of something rotten coming from his house, prompting them to check in.

It was him, dead. The body was taken to Amolatar health centre IV mortuary for postmortem.
