Five new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed bringing the total to 23 cases in Uganda, Ministry of Health, says.
It added: “Out of 227 samples that were run today, 222 samples tested negative for COVID-19.”

The Ministry said it would give details in a press statement on Saturday morning.
On Friday morning, four cases were also confirmed, making it 18 in total, before late confirmation of more cases.
