Minister Ongom Lango remanded for assult

Dokolo – A Cultural Minister serving under His Highness, Mzee Yosam Odur Ebii, the Paramount Chief of Lango is ‘caged’.

George Ongom Lango, a Minister incharge Gender, Youth and Disaster Preparedness was remanded to Koroto government prison in Dokolo district on Tuesday over assult and other charges.

Mr. Lango appeared before Dokolo Chief Magistrate, Emmanuel Alione Drajole.

The Lango cultural leader, is also accused of being a “public nuisance” by Dokolo DPC, Jimton Anguta.

It’s alleged by DPC Jimton that Mr. Lango, assulted Robert Okello, a teacher of Amwoma primary school and him over Ogora clan saga.

Lango pleaded not guilty to the charges and was soon ramanded to the “safe house” untill 27, 09, 2019.

A legal firm defending him, Egar & Company Advocate could not respond to any media questions after Court’s decision.
