After being unlawfully sacked by Mr Godfrey Ogwang, the then acting CAO of Kiryandongo district, Ms Nalubega Santha Mwajuma, the then Town Clerk for Kiryandongo town council, filed a civil suit against the district at Masindi High Court.

Speaking to our reporter, a one Opentho of Amani Trust Auctioneer and Court Bailiffs confirmed that they have arrested Chief Administrative Officer of Amolatar district, Godfrey Ogwang “after failing to pay 42 million shillings Court order.”

Opentho said Ogwang has been avoiding to pay the money with several Bailiffs that hunted him.

“Not until he was finally arrested from Zenggebe landing site in Nakasongola district where he was hiding himself,” Opentho added.

According to Opentho, Ogwang slept at Masindi Central Police Station and was handed over to Masindi High Court on Wednesday morning “for further processes.”
