Amolatar – According to our sources from Amolatar district, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) has been arrested, nearly 30 minutes ago by Court Bailiff.
Godfrey Ogwang, sources say was arrested and driven to his former workplace, Kiryandongo district, from where he “committed the crime”.
When he was the acting CAO Kiryandongo district local government, Mr. Ogwang sacked, unlawfully one of the female staff, working then with Kiryandongo town council for reasons this contemporary online newspaper is yet to establish.

Soon after exercising his official power to layoff the staff, the district was dragged to Masindi Court, a suit the plaintiff won, with cost.
TND News further understands that after district lost a case it was defending, it never committed and paid the legal cost – now amounting to shillings 42m, another source say.
By press time, the plaintiff’s legal team could not respond to us for comments, promising to “get back to us in one hour.”
