The Dokolo North MP, Paul Amoru Omiat has committed himself to support government’s moves to revive Cooperative Societies countrywide.
During his visit to Dokolo Youth Cooperative Society on Sunday, Amoru devoted he will passionately support the government’s move to revitalize farmer cooperative societies in the country.
He says Cooperative Societies can be used as a vehicle for economic transformation.
Mr. Amoru urged the Cooperators in the district to select marketable crop value chains and venture in.
The Legislator, after meeting the Cooperators, soon left for another Church function at St. Francis Xavier Dokolo Catholic Parish to bid farewell to Rev. Fr. James Michael Ebong who handed over to Rev. Fr. Moses Otom,
Before he left, he supported the farmers with one million shillings, of which five hundred thousand he paid cash.
He also visited and supported several other Women farmer groups and Village Savings and Loan Associations in Dokolo North with a total of five million shillings.
