Sai Pali Institute of Technology and Management is an I.T education institution in Uganda established in 2013 as part of Sai Pali Group.
The institution has been granted permission to establish and operate under a license from the National Council of Higher Education (NCHE) and certificate of classification from the Ministry of Education and Sports.
“We are here to serve the nation in the field of I.T by providing skills training education. These includes; Hardware and Networking, Graphic Design, 2D & 3d Animation and Web base Applications, Software Engeeniring, Mobile Application development, Computer Applications, Information Security Systems, Linux with practical hands on, which adds value to social and economic growth of the nation,” says Amit Srivastava – institution founder and director.
“Our faculty comprises of just the right blend of industry practioners and academicians. They build in our students a strong practical foundation as well as critical hands-on experience. Our courses are designed in such a way that the candidate would be industry-ready once he/she completes the entire course since they are project oriented,” Amit added.
Courses offered are in details below;
DVFX (2years). VFX is the integration of live-action footage & generated imaginations to create environments which look realistic, but would be costly or impossible to capture on film, making it a practical oriented course.
Basically anything that seems difficult to film then with VFX we can achieve it. Course outline is as follows; Basic Art, communication skills, Screen play, 3D modeling and Animation, Texturing & Shading Laboratory, Digital Photography, Computer Programming Laboratory, Television Graphics & Animation, Dmo reel, Animation dynamics lab.
At the end of this whole practical course, one can become a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Production Artist, 3D Modeler, Video Editor, Motion Graphic Designer, Film/Television Production among others.
Meanwhile, admission to various courses above ends in late August, 2019. Tuitions affordable and hostel available with secure environment and basic needs.
In coming weeks, SAIPALI institution team will be visiting northern Uganda secondary schools to talk to students on why they must take IT as a profession. The team will also offer free career guidance to learners, especially the candidates in secondary schools.
