Soroti – Death has robbed Teso sub-region of one of their finest radio presenters, Robert Ayabu popularly known by his studio name as Dj Roberto Kabari.

The presenter took his last breath at the wee hours on Friday morning at Soroti regional referral hospital where he had been hospitalized for nearly a month.
Through its social media accounts – the radio station broke the sad news that has left many in shock and disbelief.
“It’s very sad that our brother, colleague in the media Dj Roberto Kabari breathed his last breath at around 4:45 am this morning,” the post reads.
According to sources close to his family, Ayabu succumbed to cancer of the liver.
The radio personality has been eulogized by many as a humble and kindhearted person.

The body is still at Soroti main hospital mortuary.
The requiem mass will be tomorrow at Immaculate Conception Cathedral.
He will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Kabari village, Oculoi parish in Katine sub-county in Soroti district on Sunday.
Michael Ejulut – a former presenter of Delta radio: “It is always painful, climbing up here because I have to bid farewell to a fallen soul. It is more painful when, say, it is the least you expect. But death has never sent a memo, a message pinging in your phone, that it is coming with its ruthless hook to reap, does it? No. It comes when you are laughing and having fun, and it casts its evil stare at the joyous masses. It slowly tiptoes, like a fu* dark night and reaps the people you love. Rest In Peace, Dj Roberto Kabari. I hope you’re with the angels making them laugh.
