Born-again faith to sensitize inhabitants on early child matrimony
The born again federation in Uganda is set to embark on a move to sensitize the communities in Bugisu sub-region on the dangers of early child marriages and teenage pregnancies.
This follows an increasing public outcry of early child marriage in the sub-region.

Musana says that while talking to the communities about early child marriages, they will also sensitize them on rape, prostitution and HIV/AIDs’ dangers.
Musana also revealed that born again population is currently educating many communities in the entire Eastern region on gender and sexual education.
However, Peter Wanambwa one of the concerned parents appealed to fellow parents to speak to their children on sex education.
Manafwa thanked ex-RDC Kyeyune in send-off bash
Manafwa district residents, among them local leaders have bid farewell to their former Resident District Commissioner [RDC], Kyeyune Senyonjo.
Kyeyune had been in the district for close to two years and was credited for his relentless efforts to fight corruption and negligence among the government workers in the district.
According to the reorder of RDCs and deputies by the President recently, RDC Kyeyune was transferred to Palisa district while famous NRM party mobilize, Ahamad Washaki found his way to Manafwa.
During the council meeting on Wednesday morning, Harriet Nadudu the Manafwa district council speaker and a councilor representing Buwagogo sub-county revealed that they are disappointed with the Kyeyune’s transfer.
According to speaker Naduda, Kyeyune, who has been her close friend, worked with high level of honesty and integrity.
Meanwhile, the neighboring Namisindwa district got Wamoto Kigayi as its new RDC. He was in Sironko serving in the same position.
