Ahead of Bobi Wine’s homecoming today morning, the home of Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago is under Police management.
Lukwago, who’s one of the Kyandondo East MP’s Lawyers, was expected to welcome his client at Entebbe International Airport on arrival.
But he was stopped from leaving his home as by 6 am, his home gate [home] was under new management.
Like Bobi Wine – Lukwago is another politician who can attract huge crowds of followers behind him, something Police is trying to avert.
“These cowards have once again invaded my home, with their usual antics of preventive arrest. Banana Republic!,” Lukwago wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Police and sister security agencies bosses earlier issued tough guidelines ahead of Bobi Wine’s return from America where he has been for specialized medical treatment following Arua political torture.
In their guideline, Wine’s supporters have been barred from holding procession and flooding Entebbe road to destabilize traffics.
According to Police, from the Airport, the Legislator will be escorted to him home in Wakiso district under tight security to avoid illegal procession and assemblies.
Meanwhile, Eddie Yawe, Bobi Wine’s brother has been arrested and taken to Entebbe Police Station over unknown reasons. He was traveling to Entebbe Airport to receive his brother.
“Am wondering how you can arrest Eddy Yawe my brother yet you said that you will only allow my family members to welcome me and you’re not the one to decide for me who to welcome me. Just near you coming,” Bobi Wine posted on Facebook few minutes ago.
Meanwhile, there is heavy deployment of army men and police along Entebbe road and within the airport to smash any protest expected to start.
