In less than 48 hours after being hosted on Voice of America [VOA] TV talk show based in Washington D.C alongside Uganda Ambassador in the United States, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine will tonight be live, again, on Al Jazeera.

Bobi Wine and Ambassador Sebujja Katende were hosted by Ugandan – U.S based Dr Shaka Sali on Wednesday night and wide range of topics was dissected.

The Kyandondo East MP is in the United States for specialized medical treatment following the torture he got when he was arrested by security guards attached to the President following Arua Municipality political bad games.

Bobi Wine who has got local, regional and foreign support following his arrest and detention in the military and civil facilities, is using his foreign trip to lobby for support especially from the American government to stop sending military support to Uganda.

He accuses Uganda government of using American military aid – gun to threaten, maim and kill innocent Ugandans opposed to their regime.

Last week, on the same international TV he’s going to be live on tonight, Wine said the gun used and later killing his driver, Yasin Kawuma was ‘an American gun’.

He says that gun was targeted to kill him, calling on Trump’s administration to stop military support to President Museveni.

Thus, this contemporary news website has learnt that on Thursday [today], Bobi Wine will again be hosted on Al Jazeera Television from Washington D.C, starting from 10:30pm [local time].

Barry Malone who’s Al Jazeera’s Executive Producer, @AJStream based in Washington D.C announced hosting Bobi Wine in one of his tweets.

Power blackout

One of the big issues annoying some Ugandans from Wednesday is UMEME’s power black out countrywide.

On Wednesday night, soon after one of national television stations and some radios had started relaying VOA’s program, electricity blacked out, countrywide.

Ugandans, some, went on social media to express their angers and distrust at UMEME.

With tonight’s show live, and UMEME releasing a public statement on Thursday announcing that there is a possibility power may be off in some parts of Mukono and Kampala, there are guaranteed angers, again.

UMEME’s announcement released on Thursday.
