Kampala – Based in Northern Uganda, Ngetta sub-county, Lira district, Ngetta Tropical Holdings (NTH) Limited, the producer of Virgin Gold Cooking Oil, and farmers’ supporter has been recognized.
NTH, a fast excelling company was awarded “Avantage Award” as 2nd runner up by Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) for the entire Northern Uganda for paying its taxes and being compliant with URA tax polices.
“Our able CEO Paul Omara on behalf of NTH received the award from the Board Chairperson of the Uganda Revenue Authority at a colourful event hosted at the Kololo airfield grounds and officiated by Minister of Finance Planning and Economic Development, Hon. Minister Matia Kasaija,” said Bonny Otim Ogwal, an Agricultural Extension Officer, (AEO) with NTH says.
Mr. Ogwal, who also doubles as the Communications and Media assistant to CEO, Mr. Paul Omara, added: “The award we received on Friday shows our commitment to transforming Uganda and being an insitution able to pay taxes.”
According to Paul Omara, “NTH believes that honesty and integrity in running business is a pathway to corporate citizenship that gives the nation resources to provide services to her citizens. This is just the beginning.”
He added that: “NTH is committed to winning more awards of this stature every year.”
