After summoning four of its ‘party members’ to a disciplinary meeting earlier scheduled for 15, March, 2019 to no show, Uganda Peoples Congress (UPC) party is ready to deliver its ruling.

UPC under Jimmy Akena, who’s also the Lira Municipality MP, early this year summoned Peter Walubiri, Issha Otto Amiza, Jacinto Ogwal and Joseph Bossa to answer a number of claims.

One of the claims and or concerns was that Bossa, Otto and others have been masquerading as national party leaders yet they are not.

Another allegation was that some of them supported independent candidates during 2016 general polls – this, according to UPC group occupying 6th floor, Uganda House, Kampala road breached UPC Constitution as amended.

A press statement released by Congress’ media and communications department on Tueday, briefly indicated that UPC disciplinary committee team was ready with its judgement.

“The UPC Disciplinary Committee led by Mr. Peter Paul Okello shall hold a press conference to deliver their ruling on some Party members who were earlier summoned to appear before it. This will be on Wednesday 3rd April 2019 at exactly 11:00 am at Party Headquarters Uganda House 6th floor.

“Members of the media are therefore invited to come and cover the conference.

“Your presence shall be greatly appreciated.

MANAGEMENT!!”
