“The main aim of launching was to empower district coordinators to go ahead and recruit sub-county coordinators who will later on recruit parish and village coordinators. We are determined to create structures up to the village level in order to widen the People Power support across Bunyoro,” he added.

Mr. Tinkasimire said President Museveni “has not delivered to the people of Bunyoro for the last 33 years”, adding: “President knows Banyoro are “yes men” but we are determined to tell him “enough is enough”.

Amanyire Rogers who happens to be a coordinator, also called on members to be “committed to the struggle”.

Additionally, Mr. Akugiribwe added that “apart from the roads being built on borrowed money, there’s nothing NRM can show to have done for Bunyoro for the last 33 years”.

“Health services have crippled, no better schools, people have been evicted from their land and poverty is stinking in almost all households in Bunyoro,” he added.

“This is the price we are paying for supporting Museveni. We are determined to tell our people that Museveni must,_go enough is enough,” he told new recruits.
