An Indian who was working in an Indian owned factory in northern Uganda has died through suicide.
Aslam Tamboni, 27, a technical engineer attached to Bukona Agro-processing factory in Lapem village, Corom parish, Koch Goma sub-county in Nwoya district hanged himself to death on Wednesday.
His body was found lifeless at 9 am, Nwoya District Police Commander [DPC] Toka Rashid told this news website on Thursday morning
He says the deceased left behind a suicide notice which indicates reasons for going for good to be with his creator, in Heaven.
“I’ve died due to work load and pressure on me and mismatch of the work that I was brought for as Technical Engineer and the pressure by my boss to complete the work as the factory is expected to begin working within 10 days,” Tamboni’s suicide notice reads.
Tamboni’s body has been transported by police to Gulu regional referral hospital for postmortem and preservation as his relatives were planning to fly him back to India for burial.
The case was reported to Nwoya central police station [CPS] under CRB 922/2018.
Attempts go get comments from factory bosses were fruitless by press time as all of them were not in office.
